NOW-August 16
Be a part of a book club where you can read as much or as little as you want, pick whatever you want to read...and win prizes! Could it get any better?!
Read ANY book or listen to any audiobook of your choosing between June 17-August 16. For each book you read, tell us about the book by completing a book review form OR by posting your review on our Facebook wall. Forms are always available at the Reference Desk. Completed reviews can be dropped off in the review box located in the Lobby. Each book review will count as one entry into our weekly drawing held every Friday, AND as an entry for the Grand Prize—an a set of gift cards from local restaurants! The more you read, the more chances you'll have to win the weekly prize and the Grand Prize! The person who submits the most entries will win the set of gift cards! The winner of the prize package will be announced August 23! WEEK 1 PRIZE: A Spa Set to die for! Winner will be drawn on Monday, 6/24 to give folks enough time to submit entries :) Register in person at the Reference Desk or online here! Adult, Sayreville Library cardholders only! Participants who register online should stop in for their Adult Summer Reading Starter kit by visiting the Reference Desk and saying their name! You can always print out the registration forms here!

The App Is Called Boopsie--It's Fun to Use and Fun to Say!
The Sayreville Library has recently launched a mobile app to put the library at your fingertips. From any mobile phone connected to the Internet you can instantly tap into library resources, anytime, anywhere. You can search the library catalog, check your account, ask a question, find events and more. The app even offers a feature called BookLook that allows scan an ISBN barcode anywhere you are to see if the library owns the title. If you’re at a bookstore you can just scan the ISBN, see if we own it and—if we do—place a hold on it right from your phone. To access the library’s mobile app, search “Boopsie for Libraries” in your device’s marketplace and download the app. Once the app is installed, open it and search “Libraries of Middlesex.” The Sayreville Library will be within the LMxPRESS group of libraries.
