Book Discussions

Grades 2 and 3, Thursday, April 19 at 6 PM. Save the Earth! by Abby Klein
Freddy's class is challenged with completing ten planet-friendly activities by the end of one week. Can Freddy find the time to Go Green? Will he and his classmates be on the Green Team? Join us for a lively discussion and art activity as you learn how to Go Green, too!

Grades 4 and 5, Thursday, April 26 at 6 PM. Millicent Min Girl Genius by Lisa Yee.
Millicent may be a certified genius, but she doesn't have a clue about how to make and keep friends. By age 11 she's been on TV shows, won the state bath bowl, been on the Dean's list every semester in High School (yes, she's a senior in HIGH SCHOOL!), and finally talked her mother into letting her take a college class. But there's a catch: she also has to take a volleyball class and tutor Stanford Wong, the stupidest boy in school! Register online and check out a copy of the book at the Children's Desk. You must read the book before we meet.
